CLUBSCAN FAIR PROCESSING  NOTICE

ID MAY BE A CONDITION OF YOUR ENTRY / CLUBSCAN IS VOLUNTARY

By allowing us to clubscan your id (scanning and retaining your details) you agree to the following:

1) Permission to use your information for marketing; this means that this venue may send you mailed invitations to events at this venue.

2) That we can share your information with other venues should you be banned from this venue.

3) That we can share this information with police and local authorities in the event of an incident.

If you do not wish to receive marketing information you can be removed from our party invitation list at any time, if you would like to be removed ask a member of the management team or contact us at the address below.

This venue and its’ staff has a legal obligation to ensure that we do not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 years, additionally we are required by law to prevent crime and disorder, prevent public nuisance and have an obligation to public safety. To assist us in complying with these legal obligations, we may require you to produce Passport, Driving License, PASS ID, or other National Identification, which may be processed through clubscan.

CLUBSCAN OPERATING IN THIS VENUE

Clubscan is a computer system which takes a scanned copy of the identification you present us with, checks your age and whether you are listed on our database of people who have been barred from this venue. Clubscan is used to help us achieve our aim of providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our customers, where only those people who are admitted are of legal age and are unlikely to interrupt other customer’s enjoyment.

CLUBSCAN IS VOLUNTARY

You are not obliged to permit us to scan your identification through clubscan; however, we retain the management’s right to refuse entry if you do not permit us to “clubscan” your Identification. By permitting us to scan your ID, we will use your information for the following reasons; your personal safety, a log of customers on our premises, to assist with police and other local authorities where a request has been made, with other venues should you be barred from this venue and we deem it would benefit the public, staff and assist in fulfilling the any of the four main principles of the 2003 Act, marketing statistics, directly mailing of marketing information relating to this business.

THE SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will do our best to keep your information secure and will only use it for the stated purposes for which it was gathered, we will not take your information out of the EU and we will keep your information for only as long as the statute of limitations on personal injuries is set, which will mean a minimum of three years. You may have access to the information we hold on you at any time by making a written request to our data controller.
